Do a compression test to see if the problem is internal to the engine
Also check the wires that connect to the condenser packs from exterior. I had a similar problem....here the insulation between the wires was destroyed by the engine heat, causing a short and a constant miss.
have u checked the coils i had the same problem after i changed mine the kia was fine
The ignition coils only go over the #2 and #4 spark plugs
the spark plug wires have 2 coils attached so they are not cheap. look online at autozone they show them there.
No, just won't run very well. Unless Of course you did not correct the problem and run car say 100 miles.
You have to take apart the breather assembley on the top of the engine. This is that big metal pipe on top has to be unbolted and then the bracket that holds your accelerator cables , then there are 6 bolts on the top of a smaller black cover on the top center of engine. Inside you will find 2 wires yes 2 with 2 ingnition coils sitting on top of the #2 and #4 cylinders. Just pull out coils after unbolting them and unhooking the wires.
Could be a faulty fuel pump.
Yes ive been through 3 coils in 2 years
you got to take off the top part of the motor, they are under the black rectagular looking plastic piece under that there are ignition coils. the sparks plugs are right under them. you got to take off the top part of the motor, they are under the black rectagular looking plastic piece under that there are ignition coils. the sparks plugs are right under them.
On the 2000 there is a black cover that runs along the top of the valve cover. Part of the intake runs over this. Remove the aluminum part of the intake, remive the black plastic cover, there you will find coils wires and plugs.
Call a heating contractor to inspect the furnace as soon as possible.
