2000 ford ranger blower only works on high what is the problem?
bad blower, buy a good one and replace
My 2000 dodge grand caravan heater blower only works on high how can I solve this problem thank you?
What has happened is your blower motor resisor has failed. When you turn the fan speed switch those settings are resistances that "damp" the blower motor and it runs slower. When this fails, it just has full current to the blower motor. Sometimes these are called block resistors. That likely is the problem.
Blower on your 2000 Grand Prix only works on high you have checked blower motor resister fuses and switch All ok What now?
Well it is apparent that all is not ok. The speed of the blower motor is controlled by the blower motor speed control switch and the blower motor resistor pack. One of those two items is your problem. I would bet the blower motor resistor pack is defective. The only way to know for sure is to replace it.
If a 2000 Grand Am sometimes has the heater blower working and sometimes it won't, the problem could be with the heater relay switch. The heater relay switch lets the heater blower know when to come on and when to go off. In most vehicles this switch is behind the glove compartment. This part sometimes gets corroded from condensation in this area.
2000 dodge ram van 2500 blower swith only turns on high is switch bad or is there a fuse if switch what would be the part called or number?
2000 Chrysler Sebring convertible fan only works on high I replaced the resistor it still only works on high if the switch is faulty would this be the cause of the problem or something else Thanks?
I had the same problem with the same year car. I've replaced the resistor several times. It works for months & then it stops working again. I think this is the 4th time I replaced the resistor, it is working okay now. I think it is a defect in with this cars fan system. I had a similar problem with my 2001 Sebring Convertible. I had the blower motor replaced, and now the fan works…
I had the same problem with my 2000 TC, Check the blower control module. It's mounted on the fire wall in the engine compartment (right side) almost behind the throttle body. It should have a red and white label on it. It's kind of hard to get to, but that's probally your problem. I had the same problem on my 99TC. Tap on the control modual with a screwdriver.
The blower motor is undrneath the glove box. If your blower does not appear to be working, first try to replace the blower moter resister. This is a very common problem for the Durangos. It is under the glove box toward the middle of the dash. It is held in by two hex-head screws and looks like a credit card.
