This sounds like your wheel hubs need replaced. These are where the sensors for ABS and Traction control are located. I'm very surprised a dealer would not be able to find this. It is possible another sensor is bad, but this is the same problem I had with my 2001 Alero.
If you have service engine light on, trac. off light and the ABS light on the same time, you may be able to get it fixed my reprogramming the power control module (with updated software calibration). Mine was fixed for free at a dealer under a recall campaign when GM called me yesterday.
It could be the firing order is wrong
There is a problem with the SRS...have a dealer check it.
This vehicle should still be under warranty. Have it towed to the dealer for repair.
You should provide more information. Miles on vehicle. Are you doing the replacement yourself? If so what tools and repair experience your have. What sources have your tired: 1. dealer (list the price) 2. any exhaust shop. When the problem is solved please list the solution even if it was to give up / sell the car or take it to the dealer etc. It helps others in the same situation.
This should be a warranty related issue. Contact the dealer. I asked the question and should have realized that the answer would have been to start with a dealer as it is probably a warrenty item. Problem is, the truck was purchased by my deceased Dad in Texas and I am in California. But I will call a Chevy dealer to see if it still falls under a warrenty which is active. Thanks CB
I suggest you take your vehicle to a muffler shop or dealer for this repair.
It depends on the laws in your state, and the exact problem(s) you are having with the dealer and the car.
Problem with the A/T. I suggest you take it to a Honda dealer or a trusted transmission professional.
it should have. to be sure ,you can go to any dealer with your vin# and they can give you a print out of all the options you have on you car
If your VSC warning light is illuminated, it cannot be reset without taking it to your dealer or mechanic. IT IS A WARNING LIGHT!! It is indicating that the vehicle computer is sensing a problem with the Variable Skid Control of the vehicle. Inasmuch as this is part of the braking system I would strongly suggest that you have it checked out ASAP!
Had the same problem. Nissan covers this for the life of the vehicle, go to the dealer and let them replace the vehicle restraint system.
YES! Pay your repair bill and the problem goes away.
what is the MSRP on this vehicle what dealer has the vehicle
Dealer invoice is a term used to describe dealer cost of the vehicle.
If the dealer holds the lien and is the one that loaned you the money to purchase the vehicle he can repossess the vehicle if you fail to make your payments on time. Otherwise the selling dealer has no claim on the vehicle whatsoever.
Take it to a dealer or fully equipped service shop that can access the trouble codes stored in the vehicle's on-baord computer and they may be able to tell you exactly what the problem is.
