2001 Trans am- left blinker stayed on right one worked fine Replaced the left bulb and the fuse because it was blown blinkers worked fine for a few minutes then the fuse blew again What could it be?

You have a dead short to ground. It will take some detective work to inspect the wiring and sockets until you find it. The problem seems to have started with replacing the left bulb. Start there.

Just replaced mine when I bought it. If you look up underneath the driver side dash, with your head near the pedals, it will be close to the radio. It's at the end of a wire which is not attached, simply hung over the a/c-heater hose. If you haven't checked, it's only a few dollars for the part, and you can do it yourself in two minutes. I would HIGHLY recommend disconnecting the battery first, however.
