check the vaccum lines to the blend door and make sure that the heater core is not clogged 2001 Dakota- resistors in mine have burned out 3 times - check the wiriing harness under the dash near the fan and see if it's smoked. Dealership has no clue why this would happen. If I don't run the fan on HI it's not a problem.
Either your thermostat has failed (engine stays cold) or your flap that isolates the airflow through your heater core has failed.
broken heater motor but where is heater motor inside from?
rear heating no working
hi anyone help my blowers have stoped working
Blown fuse, defective thermal relay, or bad fan motor. Try this Website: http://www.gtrippleb.com/auto/durango/durango_blower_resister.htm
most likely the switch or a wire, the motor would probably show signs that it's getting weak or about to quit completely.
Most likely the heater motor resistor has failed

The lift gate on a 2003 Dodge Durango can be opened from the inside if the latch is not working. There is a latch on the floor close to the door that can be tripped with the use of a screwdriver to open the gate. The cable for the gate might need to be repaired after this.
Blower resistor. I have an 04 that does the same thing. Bad connection between the resistor and the plug for me. Big topic though for durango those resistors.
In some ac systems the blowers wont come on if only a slight tempture change is needed, or ther could be a problem in the wiring and the blowers are cut out of the heating loop It could also be that the fan limit is not working properly. Do the burners shut down after a few minutes of heating?
If it is noisy or it is getting voltage with a ground and isn't working, it needs replaced.
