I suspect you have V6. If it is the case, you will have to remove intake manifold. There is no other way to replace it.
generally on a Toyota 3.0 either in a Camry or an Avalon you need to remove the upper intake- also known as the plenium- to gain access to the back spark plugs. You will need to make sure that you have a new gasket for the plenium to avoid any vac. leaks
