probably a blown head gasket
black is excess fuel
how can i get black exhaust smoke stuck on my dual exhaust
Need to know why this is necessary.
carbon result of incomplete combustion.
Water and carbon are byproducts of combustion. Its all good...
If it's the inside of the exhaust that's black it could be caused by burnt oil in the engine.
It usually means too much fuel or not enough spark.
Assuming this is a gasoline engine, it is running rich from excess gasoline.
they have elected a pope? in cold weather it is normal to see white smoke coming out of your tailpipe. the one you have to worry about is the black or the blue smoke
possibly needs a new carborator
Blue smoke? Black smoke? White smoke? from the tailpipe? from the engine? from the midpipe? at all times? only when it's first started? when under load or at idle? need a little more information here.....
