there are little nut type hooks on the levers that hook the top down to the windshield frame. tighten these little hooks by turning to the right (righty-tighty, lefty-loosey). BUT, not too tight...these are pot metal and will break if tightened too much. the little levers on each side of the back seat rest are to UNlock the top when it is down, so that you can close the top. push down on the lever and lift up slightly on the top frame, then repeat on the other side......then lift up on the top and close it. also, there is a lever BEHIND the back seat rest on the left side...pull up on this lever to lay the back seat rest down for hauling cargo.
Pop up the plastic cap covering the mount and tighten the nut with a 13mm wrench.
You might need to tighten them up or get new ones. they might get stuck if dirt or leaves get caught.
There is a nut under the plastic cover at the base of the arm.
Could be out of synk need to loosen and reset then tighten back up
There are screws on the base of the wiper (beneath black caps) loosen them, reposition the wiper then tighten the screw.
Just brought a 1996 Dodge Caravan, cannot find where to turn wipers on? Everything has been tried on the steering arm.
You are probably going to have to replace the wiper arm. Go to a good salvage yard and get one off a decent looking wreck.
If you mean the windshield wiper blades keep falling off, it means the clips that hold them on have become too loose. Also, next time you replace them, you might want to switch to the kind that tighten with a screw instead of a clip.
you need to move the arm up a couple notches from where it sits now. undo the nut pull off the arm and turn it just slightly so the wiper sits further up the windshield then put it back on and tighten nut, just have a mechanic do it if not sure
There is a cover at the base of the wiper arm. Raise it up and tighten the nut snug. It is slipping on the shaft.
