driver's side, on top of engine, connects to a radiator hose
First of all, a dercho is not a "righ rotating storm;" it is chiefly a straight-line wind event, though the northern end may rotate counterclockwise. Derechos have probably been ocurring in North American for as long as the continent has existed.
270 degrees is 3/4 of the way around the circle. Ir is the same as rotating it 90 degrees (1/4) of the way clockwise. Turn it so anything that was pointing straight up would be pointing to the right.
Clockwise
Counterclockwise for the V-8, clockwise for the straight six.
Follow the rubber hose from top of radiator.it will lead it straight to the thermostat housing
The thermostat is under the housing where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine.
The thermostat is located below the alternator on the drivers side. The coolant sensor is right above the thermostat.
No! Thermostat.
The thermostat, on a 2005 Chevrolet trailblazer, can be replaced by first removing the water hose. Next, remove the three housing bolts. Take the thermostat out and replace with a new thermostat.
If this has a V6 engine, it is behind the thermostat housing. Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine end at the intake manifold. That is the thermostat housing. Remove the two bolts and poke the thermostat with your finger for fun. If this is a 2.5L engine, it is inside the thermostat housing, which has a cap on it. This is located at the engine end of the upper radiator hose. Let the engine fully cool, then turn the cap counterclockwise, which may require a lot of force. Use pliers to twist the thermostat handle (in either direction) and pull it straight up and out. If it's old, the handle may snap off which means long-nose (needle nose) pliers will be required to reach down to the thermostat and remove it. If the cap was difficult to remove, get a new cap.
The thermostat is located on top of the engine at the front. It is inside of the connection housing for the top radiator hose.
