unplug the connector on the back of the alternator
.install a new fuse in the fuse box turn the switch on .if it does not blow you have a bad regulator in the alternator .

Yes that could be the cause. If you keep blowing a fuse, either you have a short, loose connection, too small a fuse, or the circuit is overloaded.
on my 2004 tracker this was caused by a bad relay on the right side inner fender under the hood
yes its because the tracker weighs almost 3000lbs but not quite that much, the solution to not rolling your tracker over, is SLOW DOWN. its not the steering your truck is just too light and you can lift it off the ground going too fast. trust me i know from experience.

The PCM is located on the left side of the dash. Remove the speaker grill and then remove the speaker to gain access.
Probably on the firewall just behind and above the pedals, a black box about four inches square.

WHAT in 89-90 it make only FUEL injection in 91 to 2011 ,it makes spark and fuel injection. the what. (and 10,00 more words) but can be condenses 91+ to injects fuel and makes perfect fuel and spark under all operational conditions. death valley to Denver.
