maybe an ECU problem
* check for spark it might not be getting fire to the spark plugs if there is no spark the ignition coil pack might be bad
Obviously- the spark plugs were not the issue :)
Start with a good tune up. Could be a bum spark plug or spark plug wire.
there are 2 main reasons 1 the engine is not getting enought petrol 2 spark engine is not getting spark this is probley the cause the main thing that goes wrog with the spark is the ht coil replace this and the spark plug and your engine should start
do you have gas in the tank
could be just the spark plugs, start with that its only a few dollars to fix
Fuel in oil, engine running rich( black smoke out of exhaust) Fuel pressure to high, Spark plugs black in color. Hard to start.
No. The spark plugs are responsible for igniting the fuel in the cylinders. If you start yanking them out, the engine is going to stop running. This is covered in the book Things That Dummies Do.
Check for fuel and spark
The problem could be with your cellunoid. They wear out. Its the part that produces the spark.
no
I don,t know I am searching for an answer for my 1994 starr@bham.biz
Does it turn over? Does it have: fuel, spark, compression?
To turn the engine over to draw in some fuel and air into the cylinder and to make the spark plug spark to enable the engine to start running on its own.
check your mass air flow sensor . tap on it GENTLY . should start
check the ignition module, it's in or around the rotor
If it is getting fuel, try a new spark plug. The old plug could be fouled. You start by determining the reason why it won't start. Ignition, compression, and fuel... you need all of them in order to get the vehicle running.
