Just did this about a couple months ago. You have to go inside. You then take the handle off (two screws after you remove the covers that are over the screws). The take a screw driver and pop the panel off. After that there is a long bar that goes from the latch to the release. I believe all you have to do is pull upwards on that to release it. I thought I had the same problem but the latch was just really jammed. Took some WD40 to it, worked it really well and it works like a dream now.

A station wagon, hatchback or estate car. Depending on which country you are in.
the difference is that the station wagon has a bigger room for the boot and it is long while the hatch back is a smaller version of the station wagon please subscribe
According to the Kelley Blue Book website, power steering came standard only in the Si Hatchback, LX Sedan, and 4WD Wagon. All other models (Hatchback, DX Hatchback, CRX HF Hatchback, CRX Hatchback, DX Sedan, Wagon, and Wagovan) had it as an option only. In my opinion, the 1989 civic does not need power steering. The tires are narrow, the car is light, and the steering wheel is big enough that the only reason you would want power steering is if your civic had been pimped out with fat tires.
Buy a new one and you will see what all you have to take loose.
The flasher for the turn signals and hazard lights on a 1995 Eagle Summit wagon is located in the dash on the driver's side of the vehicle. It is just above the brake pedal.
