96 ranger 3 liter wipers and windshield washer pump wont work fuses and relays all ok any suggestions?

I'm not a mechanic / technician but on my 1995 Explorer I noticed that 2 of my front wiper intermittant positions were not working and sometimes I would have to push the squirter button as many as 3 times before I would get any fluid . The dealer changed the multi - function switch (for turn signals etc) and everything is fine now - Helpfull
