I did a temporary repair by splicing the damaged lines but a permanent fix will require replacement of the vacuum harness assembly. If you are considering buying a used vacuum harness, make sure the specs are the same as your vehicle, i.e.: Engine size, trans type, 2-WD or 4-WD, etc. If you are mechanially inclined this is a fairly easy fix, otherwise I suggest the repairs be made by a reputable mechanic.
The mode doors in the F150 are vacuum ac
actuated and if you have problems switching between floor/vent/defrost, it's probably a vacuum leak. The temperature of the air is controlled by the blend door and this system is electronic with an actuator motor. It's common on the F150 and Expedition for the plastic blend door to break and this sounds like what your problem is. Search "F150 heater" on YouTube for a video showing how to diagnose and repair the problem.
sounds like you need some freon.
sounds like the thermostat is sticking
sounds like your PVC valve is not closing during the positive crank case venting process this is a cheap fix
Oscilatory Motion

Mostly turbulence, but the sounds of the valves closing can also be heard.
Sounds like it could be a bad thermostat - not closing to allow engine to heat to normal operating temperature
by air blowing into them
the closing of the atrioventricular valves ("lub) and the closing of the semilunar valves ("dup*).
Check the vacuum line for leaks. The air flow gate may not be closing completely.
Sounds like there is a problem in the transmission and the computer has put the transmission into the FAIL SAFE MODE to keep it from blowing apart. Stop driving it and get it to a transmission shop ASAP.
The normal heart sounds are described as a lubb dubb. These sounds are due to the closing of the valves. If a murmur is heard, the valves are not closing properly and there is a back flow of blood. Also if the normal heart sounds are not in a rhythm, there is something wrong with the way the heart is working.
