my 1997 Toyota Tacoma has the dash/gauge light burnt out - i would like any help to locate bulb and replace i thank you
The oil pressure gauge is going to fluctuate on a Toyota Tacoma or any automobile. The oil pressure is less when the auto is idling and more when the auto is going down the road.
at least on the 2006 you can tee of the the line from the valve body that comes back to the side of the intake,
The fuel empty indicator in a Toyota Paseo might not be working for a couple of different reasons. First, the fuse for the fuel gauge might be blown, in which case you just need to replace it. It is also possible that the float inside the gas tank is faulty and needs servicing.
Depends on the car. Most should drop to empty when the ignition is off but some cars stay in the same position, they are rare though. (Toyota crown, Isuzu panther)
There isn't one in mine. Just routinely check the level. If it gets too low, the temperature on your thermostat gauge will let u know it's over heating. Keep an eye on it!
I have a 2008 Rav4; filling the tank from empty (gas light on) to full is 12.5 gal. The total volume is about 14 gal. We have a 2010 RAV4; filing the tank from empty (gas gauge needle on E and gas light on) to full is 12.5 gals. The specifications in the Toyota owners manual says the tank holds 15.9 gals. We are frustrated by having to gas up so very often. At a quarter full on the fuel gauge we can only put 8 or 9 gals. in at each fill up. Our old Ford held 19 gals. and the gauge was accurate so when we gassed up we could put in twice this much gas (15 to 17 gals) allowing gas stops half as often. Don't mean to complain, we love this car but wish it could take on more fuel to have fewer fuel stops.
That depends entirely on the vehicle and on how accurate the gauge is.
The gauge or sensor needs to be replaced.

Failed gauge, wiring, or level sensor.
