A lot of people will tell you that it's the fuel pump which is inside of the fuel tank. If you change that and it still wont start then it is the fuel pump wiring harness. 99% of the time this is what it usually is. The wiring harness plugs in to the top of the fuel pump. I would just change both while you have the fuel tank down to save yourself time. You can get both at any auto parts store.
You have fuel at the engine and there is spark from the plugs? If you have fuel, air, spark and it is in time, it has to run. You have spark in the wire, have you pulled the plugs and checked them. They may be fouled or worn out. Timing could be off, but it should at least try to start, backfire or something. Check the plugs and get back to me if that isn't it.
A bendix.
could be the starter or the solenoid, they arer pron to heating up especially when using headers, peace
Usually when hot? Could be a starter going bad
your starter soleniod may be stuckif you are getting dashboard lights and the starter won't turn overhit the soleniod with a hammerif your car turns over replace the soleniod
Stuck relay or the starter is wired incorrectly.
IT is not getting one or more of the following: spark, fuel or compression. Assuming it cranks. If it doesn't crank, it is probably an electrical problem such as starter, battery or alternater.
Would be in the distributer or the ignition module
No, The compression test is done as the starter cranks the engine
you have a bad solineiod in your starter go get a new starter
are you getting spark?
When you turn the key in your car, the key turns the starter motor, which inturn cranks the flywheel of your motor. Once firing is accomplished the starter is released, as you release the key. If your motor, just cranks and not start, you may have jumped your timing and this will have to be restored by a mechanic, as the timing belt needs changing.
Have you checked the air filter? Fresh Gas? Battery amps?Does the starter spin and not engage? If so it is your starter solenoid.
