A simple microscope
an electron microscope is one that uses the focus of electron beams instead of regular light from lenses. It allowed scientists to discover new germ cells, bacteria, and eventually viruses.
the simple microscope was invented in 1600s
Hans Janssen and his son Zacharias Janssen, Dutch spectacle-makers, are frequently cited as having invented the first compound microscope in 1590, but there is a good deal of dispute. They may not have. Zacharias Janssen was the one who actually made the claim, and in the middle of the 1600's. A number of historians, however, agree that it is imporbable that 1590 is correct. There is a good deal of evidence that Zacharias Janssen was born somewhere around 1590. A link is provided to the Wikipedia article on the optical microscope where a brief history of the device can be reviewed.
The term microscope technically applies to any magnifying arrangement of lenses, one or many. Single lens magnification has been known since about 1000 AD and no inventor is recorded by history. Around 1590, several individuals compete for recognition as the inventor of the compound microscope which is a microscope using two or more lenses. See the link below to the related question, "Who invented the microscope?" About 1670, Anton van Leeuwenhoek dramatically increased the magnifying power of the simple microscope.
It is a split screen usually the bottom part is cut as the (close up) lens the normal or larger part of the lens is normal- depending on whether one needs primarily distance or close-up correction, or for reading. the bottom lens group is usually secondary, not the main task. Franklin invented bifocal eyeglasses. He also devised the lightning rod, Franklin stove and *Long arm, lever device often used in grocery stores.
They threatened prophet Muhammad because he call all people to Islam that means worshiping Allah (God in English) as the one and only one God with no partner, no son, no companion, and no associate. Accordingly, his call was:against idols worshipagainst racism and discrimination by gender, color, hierarchy, etc and superiority is due only pietyagainst slaveryThis call to Islam was accordingly against their interests. They felt that Islam spread will deprive them from earning money and power coming from idols trade and worship and through slavery trade and slave possession.
Robert Hooke's ContributionHe discovered the tiny box-like compartments while observing cork under a microscope which he named 'cells' meaning a small compartment. That was the first time when someone had the first glimpse of these microscopic things.
A simple microscope has only one lens.
no. a simple microscope has one lens. a compound microscope has two or more lens
Compound microscope.
A microscope that has more than one lens is a compound microscope
No. If it only has one lens, then it's just a magnifying glass, not a microscope.
a compound microscope has only one lense
a compound microscope has two or more lens while a simple microscope has only one lens
It is a microscope with only one lens.
idkk.
A light microscope is an optical microscope. That differentiates it from an electron microscope, a quantum mechanical tunneling microscope and others.
Compound microscopes have more than one lens. The first (objective) lens magnifies the object to produce an image. Subsequent lenses magnify an image produced by a previous lens.Leeuwenhoek's "microscope" had only one lens -- simple magnification only.
