the master cly is located under the fresh air intake box ,you have to remove the cabin air filter box on the driver side under the hood
Sounds like your parking brake is on... this can also be an indicator that your brake fluid is very low
Hold down red button with R on left hand brake, pull the bake all the way back and down shift then release brake an button
either behind or in front of the arm of your brake pedal. Follow the brake pedal up until you find a box, either in front of or behind the brake pedal. You will find that the box has a button on it that is activated by your brake pedal, that is the neutral safety switch.
I own a 2006 3.7L grand Cherokee and my tune up consists of spark pug replacements (6) for me, differential fluid change, ATF fluid change (no flush), and PCV. If you have a transfer case you will need to change that as well. good luck!
your tranny fluid isnt getting cooled off you will have to check to see of its leaking just take it to your local repair shop you wont want to mess with trannys there is alot of stuff there

Ford specifies a high quality DOT 3 fluid. Do not put any other fluid in the brake system as it will cause damage and may make the brakes inoperative.
The brake fluid reservoir is under the hood on the driver side. It is the yellow cap back near the base of the windshield.
Find the brake fluid reservoir, on a 2006 it is in the back of the engine compartment on the driver's side (upper right corner). Open the reservoir, add new fluid to the max line and replace the lid.
