After replacing 1999 Bravada fuel pump you need to unplug and then replug connection at pump to start the vehicle Has anyone ever seen this problem. What was the problem I have exchanged relays FYI?

Go to Auto Zone and get new connector that conneccts to fuel pump. I had same problem, put in new fuel pump and problem came right back. Put new connector on for couple of dollars and some electrical tape and problem went away. I crawled under this car many times in finding this out and I can tell you that this is the worst vehicle GM has ever made. Good luck, if you keep yours as long as I have you have many many repair days ahead.

There is another problem. If the code is about the purge valve/system the problem could be a broken vacuum line or electrical connection.
