How do you go from Montreal to Boston by train?

You don't. There are no trains that connect them anymore, sorry. Thank the airlines and the subsidies to roads for that. You can get from Montreal to NYC on the Amtrak Adirondack. It's a very nice trip. The train equipment is not that new, but the scenery is great. The trains now have outlets at every seat, so you can work if you want. You leave Montreal most days at 9:30 or 10am (the schedule has changed a few times), and in theory arrive in NYC at 6pm. In practice, you arrive at 8pm or 9pm. You can catch another train to Boston from there. There seems to be no advantage to getting off earlier, such as Albany, as there are no Boston/Albany connections. In the opposite direction, the train leaves around 8am. I do not know if you can get on a train leaving Boston early enough for that, but there are some late night trains, so in theory you don't have to stay over in NYC. Arriving in Montreal, in theory at 6pm, but in practice at 8pm , often due to delays at customs, means that you can't catch any connecting trains to, say Ottawa or Quebec city.

How much would a Greyhound Bus ticket be from Keene New Hampshire to Oklahoma City Oklahoma versus an Amtrak ticket from Brattleboro Vermont to Oklahoma City Oklahoma?

A one-way ticket by bus from Keene NH to Oklahoma City OK the trip would cost as little as $93 with 21 days advance purchase to $206 for a same-day purchase. Greyhound offers 7- and 14-day advance purchase discounts as well so check their website for current fares. Amtrak has trouble finding service from Brattleboro to Oklahoma City. The Vermonter runs daily to New York City and beyond but Amtrak's reservation system can't find any good connecting service to Oklahoma City. You could travel from Boston to Oklahoma City by train for as little as $200 with some notice but you'd have to take a bus from Keene to Boston and then connect to Amtrak. For more information on bus service and connections in Boston, Keene, and Oklahoma City check: http:/www.casualtourist.com
