You will need a GOOD pitman arm puller.
It is located behind the steering wheel. You will need to remove the steering wheel. Its a blak circular part that has a 3-5 wire plug in the back of it.
on my '91 with tilt steering the ignition switch is located underneath the key, inside the steering column only three screws hold it on, but alotta torx hold that cover on.....have fun

If the Ignition switch is faulty, all you need to change is the switch module, not the lock cylinder. Normally removal of the switch module, is just a matter of removing a couple of screws. Replacement of the steering lock and ignition switch assembly, is usually only required following an auto-theft.
When you say key tumbler, are you referring to thr ign key cylinder, door , glove box or trunk cylinder. All tricky, most difficult--steering col lock cylinder. Steering wheel, signal switch, must come off.
