try this for size...to not back up out of the drive way of a car wash and bang out! Meanwhile, thinking that you were preventing a accident that may have occurred.
a garage is probably going to charge you 2 hours of labor plus the parts
Drive it to the local garage and pay to have it done.
Take it to the garage.
How much can a garage charge for storage after they finish repairs? in san bernardino county
HeyDuffman==If the belt is tight and it is full of fluid, take it to a garage. GoodluckJoe
between $65 to $75 an hour
Not knowing how bad the bearing is, I can't say how long it will last before the wheel falls off. Drive to your local garage for repair and don't take the highway.
This is a big job requiring the use of a press to remove and install the bearing. I have done this in my own garage, taking the hub out to a local garage for the press work. However, since you are asking here, you should have the whole job done by a mechanic that you trust. It is a big job. --Ken
as with all front bearings on any car it is usually easiar to remove the hub by undoing the ball joint ,trackrod end and usaully suspension off the hub but i would imagine that the bearing has to be pressed so the hub will have to be taken to a garage or someone with a bearing press so if you are not mechanically minded i would take the car straight to a garage and save yourself alot of hardwork.
I have the same problem with my 93 Chevy Lumina. Was told by the garage I needed new buschings. Don't know if this helps....Good Luck!
The throw-out bearing is toast. Don't drive it anywhere but to a local garage for repair.
I had to pressed in by a garage . they did not last . I bought 2 from a junk yard no problems after 110k more miles i
