Many members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that dark skin came as a result of a curse to one's ancestors. This does not mean that their modern dark-skinned descendants are cursed.

In the case of dark-skinned people of African origin, Mormons (along with many Biblical scholars) believe that the dark skin comes as the result of a curse given to Canaan, the son of Ham, the son of Noah. This is found in the Old Testament in Genesis 9:20-27, whichtells of Noah's son Ham, who saw his father naked which caused his son, Canaan, to be cursed with black skin.

In the case of dark-skinned peoples in the Americas, Mormons believe that this dark skin comes as the result of a curse given to the ancient ancestors of these people, who were called Lamanites. They were also given dark skin as a result of their rebellion against God. (See Book of Mormon, 2 Nephi 5:21 andAlma 3:6-8)

While Mormons believe that a curseis the cause of the black skin of most African blacks and the dark skin of Native tribes in north and south America, they do not believe that it makesdark-skinned people living in modern timesinferior or "cursed" in any way. People of all ethnicities and cultures are welcomed into the Church, and there are many dark-skinned church members and leaders around the world.

Yes and no, you see the Mormons believe that blacks are the incarnated spirits of those spirits that turned again God as part of insurrection and so they were marked by black skin and born to Cain. You could be a black Mormon, but it was clear you were held responsible for imagined actions made up by a crazy man. Up until the the '70s blacks weren't allowed to become members of the clergy, when the Civil Rights Movement pretty much forced them to accept them as equals.

No. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" Church) is not against any race or culture and is open to all. The Church teaches that all people, regardless of race or social status, are beloved sons and daughters of God and have an equal chance at salvation and eternal life. In a period between the late 1800's and the 1970's, the Church did not allow African blacks to hold the priesthood, (those with dark skin that were not descended from Africans were allowed to hold the priesthood) but they were still allowed to be baptized and participate in worship services.

The Book of Mormon says: "[The Lord] inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile." (2 Nephi 26:33)

Does the wrath of God prove Gods anger with Mormons as a sign to the world?

Do you have any evidence of the wrath of God being against Mormons in particular? Nothing has occurred that seems to be specifically targeted against Mormonism, which would lead me to believe that the wrath of God is not against the Mormons, therefore proving that He is not angry with them.
