I opened an account at Bank of America online. They don't have any branches here but they have an ATM machine that takes deposits (even cash deposits). It is at 733 Marquette Ave.
Another bank is Wells Fargo, they offer an account called the Opportunity Package

Because more and likely you have more than two closures on the chex systems. Most banks will not allow you to open an account if you have had more than two closures.

AnswerI have spent years researching banks and credit unions and I have never found any non-chexsystems banks in California. There are some "in store branch" locations of US Bank that will open accounts for those reported to chexsystems. Some of these branches actually have signs that say " In chexsystems, No problem"If you have " fraud or suspected fraud" reported, they will NOT approve you.
