I am currently studying Music: Business, and one of our subjects is copyright. As you could imagine this area is very, very dense and there are a lot of topics to cover. The short answer is: No... Any downloading of any part of a published work (i.e. recorded song) is an infringement, and is punishable by law. This is a huge topic of debate in the music industry at the moment, because it makes a criminal of nearly every teenager in the developed world. There are arguments for disregarding copyright, and arguments against, but as it stands in 2009, downloading protected works is illegal
If you buy songs legally from the LimeWire store then it will cost money. If you are caught downloading songs illegally without paying for them then it could cost you a lot of money. To quote LimeWire: What Happens If I Commit Copyright Infringement? Your activities on peer-to-peer networks such as LimeWire may be monitored by copyright owners. Violation of copyright laws may subject one to substantial money damages. Copyright owners have sued thousands of people for infringement of copyright over peer-to-peer networks. (See links below)
limewire's website is www.limewire.com; all needed instruction on install (trivial) are there. As you alredy know (judging by the wording of your question) that there are opportunities on Limewire to violate copyright laws, and if you are caught you may be punished.

Syching your itune library to the folder where your limewire downloads are.
You can not LEGALLY download music for free.
Limewire and file-sharing services are legal. You can download music for free from the service but you should not download copyright protected music, as that is illegal.
They don't. Limewire is a "Peer-To-Peer" (aka Person to Person / P2P) file sharing program. It is the responibilty of the users of the program to get the copyright holders permission to have the songs on there (In a lot of cases it is the label, not the artist that has the copyright). Most of the users do not get permission to legally put the songs on there. That means that it is illegal to download music and such from there. I would recommend you avoid it. There are sites that legally sell music for 15 cents a song. It's worth it to be legal. == == No. However they do not need to as they do not distribute any files themselves. They simply make and distribute software that allows other to distribute files.
You can try AmoyShare - Free MP3 Finder. It supports more than 1000 sites so that you can search and download any music you want.
Most music downloaded from Limewire is illegal, pirated music and is not recommended. It is possible to receive a substantial fine or even be sent to prison.
yes some of the songs are found on limewire
you can get free songs and videos on limewire
First you need to have i-tunes open AND Limewire. One you get the songs you want from Limewire, make a limewire playlist folder in your i-tunes. After you do that, go to your Limewire library and drag your songs onto the word "Limewire" in your i-tunes playlists on the left hand side. Your songs should appear! Hope this helps! ~M!$$ P3Y!~
