I am not sure if they are bad for cats, exactly. However, any food that is not meant for cats generally isn't good for them (human food and other pet foods included).
Out pellets are regurgitated food. It is a good nutritional source for animal feed.
no, the best food for cats is cat food .
they eat turtle food. one tye of it is "wardley" my red eard turtle liked it very much.
Good nutritious hay, goat pellets and grain.
I have a red eared slider too. If you turtle is a baby dont worry until the third week or so. You can also try raw meat, baby turtles are usally carnivorous. If your turtle doesnt eat by the third week you should see a doctor. A list of foods for turtles is cooked chiken for a snack or treat, bloodworms, earthworms, veggies, fruits, pinkie mice, and you can also try frozen turtle pellets called NATURAL AQUATIC TURTLE FOOD. I hope it all works with your little slider GOOD LUCK
you cant force a turtle/tortiose out of his shell. its his own personal choice. however, you can attempt to lure him out with the promise of a good habitate and suitable food
yes, but it's not good for them
Animal food and really good kind!
A commercial diet such as Reptomin Turtle Pellets. A good supplement is Turtle Bites, which are made of fruits and vegetables. It will also eat red leaf lettuce, which can be given daily. Other fruits and vegetables can be offered but should be limited to once a week.
Yes; water is essential and food pellets are good, along with fresh fruits and vegetables. Make sure they have clean water everyday, take the fresh food out, and get a water bowl that the crab can climb out of easily and won't drown.
i would advise you to feed them live food first if you caught it from the wild, things like beetles: thyre crunchy and delicious, or fish. it might take them awhile to get used to those pellet food from pet stores. i have two other bigger turtles that eats pellets, so i put my baby turtle in the tank and make him watch the big turtles eat and then what do you know, he went to chase down a piece of food to eat too. another good food to try is ham. they go crazy for it. never force feed a turtle, that's just cruel. or it could be that the turtle is just scared of you.. lol let your sister or someone else feed him =x
