Out of time or a burnt valve
The 89' Pontiac LeMans is 12ft long
This car is fuel injected. There is no carb.
Yes. As I recall, the 88 is carb, the 89 is either carb or F.I., and 90+ are all F.I.
plugged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump.
We'll if they are 89% it's pretty high
on the gas line between the gas tank and carb but it might not have one
Yes there is.The pre 89 i believe had no limiter in the ignition system. Exhaust and Carb restirict. too. Heat up exhaust and remove restrictive washer. 2 get older ignition from pre 89 pw, overhaul carb. Buy a manual well worth the headache
Ignition timing, timing belt/chain, distributor cap... who knows without looking at it?
depends if it is carburated of fuel injected, carb has 105, and the fuel injected has 135
how to rebuild an 89 Dodge ram 50 (2.6 liter mitsibishi) carb
After looking at the Gates website ( they make timing belts etc. ) I found ( 3 ) 1989 Pontiac models that were available with a 2.0 L engine The Grand Am , Lemans , and Sunbird and NO , IT IS NOT AN INTERFERENCE ENGINE
no you cannot they are not interchangeable the 89 heads are fuel injected heads and the 79 are carb heads and will not interchange
