This really depends on many factors. Your tow rating is probably 2000 lbs. Check your manual or with the dealer for certainty. However, some countries list the identical vehicle with a 4000 lb capacity. Back in the late 90's the first new TJ Wranglers listed the 4K limit and after a lawsuit involving a nearly 5K trailer it was dropped to half the original limit. I tow a 3900 lb. boat without any trouble, but I don't go up and down mountains with it. I also tow an 8K RV unit, but only on private campground property. My Wrangler is a '99 with 100K miles and a very barely visibly used manual AX-5 transmission (one of the weakest). Legally, you may be limited to 2000 lbs, which is not much for a pop-up, but they can be found. Realistic capabilities may be closer to double that, but I'm not taking responsibility if you do so and wreck it or injure people.

Yes, the Wrangler will tow up to 2,000 lbs. If your Wrangler is an Automatic, then I sugggest you install a Transmission cooler. Very cheap insurance against transmission overheating. If the camper is not equipped with some sort of braking system, then your biggest problem is stopping. The Wrangler is a short wheelbase vehicle and stopping a 3/4 ton load may be a problem, especially on a wet road. So when pulling this load be aware that you may have trouble stopping.

That would depend on the size of your camper. I have a small pop up camper and used my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (V6) to tow it from Chicago to Yellowstone and back. I will never do that again. I now have a 1995 Grand Cherokee (V8) that tows it with no problem.

I don't know about your year/engine, but I own a 2000 Grand Cherokee 6 cyl and towed my 16' pop up from Illinois to Yellowstone and back. I was very disappointed with it's performance. The gas mileage dropped to 8 MPG and I started having vacuum and acceleration problems.
