Yes. Islam says there is no compulsion in religion, so this is not a barrier. Jainism accepts anyone who wants to embrace the religion, with no specific ritual for becoming a Jain.

According to Islam, the penalty for apostasy (conversion from Islam to another religion or renunciation of Islam in general) is death. This is made clear in the Hadith (Al-Bukhari 6524). The "no compulsion in religion" (Qur'an 109:1-6) is usually interpreted as applying to permitting people of other religions to freely practice their faith, not to permit Muslims renounce the faith and freely choose to practice a different faith.

In several Muslim-majority countries, apostates are hunted and killed by thugs who take Islam "into their own hands". In other countries, like Iran and Saudi Arabia, the government actually prosecutes apostasy as a crime. Be careful if you live in these countries to avoid problems that may result from conversion. (This is not to say that a Muslim should not convert if he feels that Jainism is proper faith, but he should be cautious of the world he lives in.)

Yes and No. There is no need of conversion.Jainism accepts anyone who follow Jain principles(non-violence, truthfulness, non-stealing, celibacy, and non-possessiveness). Jainism encourages these five principles but doesn't compulsory anything. Islam doesn't ban any of these principles(mostly supports it). So one can remain a Muslim, keep believing Allah and still follow these five principles.

Every Person on this earth is Jain by birth. They don't convert, they revert back to original nature of mankind - Humanity. Its synonymous to be Jain as this religion guides you to attain eternal peace and coexistence with all living beings.
