YES, That would be called a vacuum leak.
look to see if your intake manifold is gummed up with residue
overheating it would. Or if it was stick not being in the right gear trying to find the system causing it would help, if the air intake or filter was so clogged it couldn't suck air it could stall, and low fuel pressure could also make it stall rather slowly. Bad electrical connections could cause a quicker stall.
Bc is not enough air in the intake....
If the intake manifold gasket has failed then it can cause many issues. Air leaks, known as vacuum leaks, will cause an erratic idle, stalling, and fuel problems.
Several things can cause your 2001 Toyota Corolla to stall when you first take off. The most common cause is a dirty fuel filter or a dirty air intake filter.
stall
When my 1997 Ford Probe started to do that we toke a look at it and found a few leaks in the Air Intake
gasket connecting 2 or more solid materials to form a vacuum and pressure seal. the term "blown" indicates a failure in either or both the vacuum (air intake)or pressure (coolant passages)
I noticed thet you selected stalling as your problem. The emission code will not cause a car to stall. I think you need to clean the Mass Air Flow sensor and run a cleaner through the air intake.
You need to check the up stream or dirty side of the intake system
There can be many resons for this. A common cause for this is an air pocket in the cooling system if the 3.4l v6 engine. Air pockets can be cause by low coolant level, or more serious engine problems- I.E. leaking intake manifold gaskets, blown head gaskets.
That can cause serious injury.
