There is no way to tell for sure, they could have blue, green, or a mix (blue-green). Its even possible that the mom or dad could have some brown eye genes in the from previous ancestors and the kid could have brown eyes!

Can someone with brown eyes and one with green eyes have a blue eyed child?

It is possible for a child with a brown-eyed parent and a green-eyed parent to have blue eyes if there is the trait for blue eyes in the child's genetics. Such as a grandparent with blue eyes.

Can a blue eyed man and a brown eyed woman make a blue eyed kid?

Theoretically, a blue eyed man and a blue eyed woman cannot produce a brown-eyed child. The reason is that neither parent carries the brown-eyed gene. If the father or mother did carry the brown-eyed gene, the eyes/irises of that parent would be brown. The gene for brown is dominant over the gene for blue. However, two brown eyed parents can produce a blue eyed child. In that case, each parent with brown eyes must carry the gene for blue - the parents' eyes are brown because the brown gene is dominant over the blue gene. However, if the child inherits a blue gene from both brown eyed parents, the result will be blue eyes although both parents have brown eyes. In the case of one parent with brown eyes and one parent with blue eyes, there is a possibility that the parent with brown eyes possesses the non-dominant blue gene. If the child inherits the blue gene from that brown eyed parent, the child's eyes will be blue since the gene from the other parent with blue eyes will be blue. There is a condition known as heterochromia iridis where one eye is brown and one eye is blue. This condition is usually pathological on a neurogenic or inflammatory basis with the abnormality usually being in the lighter/ blue eye. Acquired heterochromia iridis that develops in an adult may suggest a melanoma of the iris in the brown eye.

Eye color can a child have blue eyes from brown and green eyed parents?

yes, people with brown eyes can carry the blue eye gene, so two brown-or-green-eyed people who both carry the blue eye gene have a 25% chance chance of a blue eyed child (with each birth).

Can a parent with blue eyes and brown eyes produce a child with blue eyes?

The genetics of eye color are more complex than realized previously. Almost any parent-child combination of eye colors can occur.

What eye color will be the child's eye color if the mom is green and the dads eye color is blue?

The green eye and the blue eye are the same gene, so is black and brown. The child's eyes would have to be green or blue because both parents onlt have blue genes. If both parents have brown eyes there is still a chance the child's eyes could come out blue, but only if one of the parents have a hidden blue gene. But is both parents have blue eyes this means all their genes are blue and the child will 100% have blue eyes.

How can a green eyed parent and a brown eye parent have blue eyed children?

I can not insure the accuracy of this but using the punnett Square calculator on this website: www.changbioscience.com/genetics/punnett.html theoretically a child with a green eyed parent and a brown eyed parent (not hazel) you would have a 50% chance of having a child with grey eyes (which look blueish) and a 50% chance of having a child with hazel eyes. These are the genotypes for eye colours that you can use to have a go your self: EEEEEEEE Black Eyes EEEEEEEe Brown Eyes EEEEEEee Hazel Eyes EEEEEeee Grey Eyes EEEEeeee Amber Eyes EEEeeeee Blue-Green EEeeeeee Green

Does cross over inheritance occur when one blue eyed blonde hair parent and one brown eyed brown hair parent have a blue eyed brown hair child?

What color would your eyes be if your parents have different eye color?

if your parents have different color eyes: if eyes are not brown, no brown gene lets say one green other brown. green parent may have green/blue gene. brown parent may have brown/green gene. your eyes might be blue. 1/4 chance of it.

Can a brown eyed man and a brown eyed woman have a blue eyed child?

Brown unless the mothers parent has blue eyes. Some cases are very different. It really depends on how many children the parents have or are planning to have. Most of the children will have brown eyes in this case. 1 out of 4 will have either blue or a green pigment. If the parent has only 1-3 children it is highly likey that their eyes will be brown instead of blue/green. This is not 100% that any of the children will have blue/green even if there were 8 children. It depends on how the gene "deals the hand of cards" to each individual child. Its more like a 65-75% chance that 1 out of 4 will have a blue/green eye color. If lucky the first child could very well have blue/green eyes, but the possibility is very slim.

What color will the baby's eyes be if the mom has brown eyes and the dad has blue eyes?

If the baby gets a brown eye gene from one parent and a blue eye gene from the other parent, the child will likely have brown eyes because brown is dominant over blue. Or if the brown eyed parent has a blue recessive gene and the baby gets it then that child will have 2 blue eye genes and will have blue eyes. Of course there could be other recessive genes of other colors so the child could have hazel or green too. This is my basic understanding of how it works.

Do blue and green eyes can make brown?

No. Blue eyes come from a recessive gene from each parent. The child must of 2 recessive gene pairs to have blue eyes (which is actually the lack of eye pigment). So a brown eyed parent and a green eyed parent may have a blue eyed child if both pass on a recessive blue eye gene, but if just one dominant brown or green eyed gene is passed along it will trump the recessive blue eyed gene and the child will have brown or green eyes.

If mother have green eyes and father has dark brown eyes grandmother has blue eyes and grandfather has brown eyes what color might the child have?

The child could have green eyes, dark brown eyes, or blue eyes based on the genetic combinations of the eye color alleles inherited from the parents and grandparents. The specific outcome would depend on the exact combination of alleles passed down to the child.

A person w green eyes and a person w brown eyes what color will the child have?

50% BROWN0% GREEN50% BLUEThe brown gene is dominant but if it also carries a recessive blue gene then they can have a blue eyes babyAnswerSince brown is a dominant gene and blue is the recessive gene, the child will usually have brown eyes. My father had brown eyes and my mother had blue eyes. They had three children: two brown eyes and me a blue green or as some call it grey eyed child. Then my brown eyed sister had a child with a blue eyed man and their son had blue eyes. So you really need to check to see if the brown eyed person has a brown or blue eyed parents. If one parent has blue eyes then yes it would be possible to have a blue eyed child. So the answer may lie with the Grandparents of the brown eyed person having the child. Check to see if one has blue eyes. Hope this wasn't to confusing. You can definitly can have green eyes when one parent has blue eyes and the other has brown. My Mother has brown eyes and my Father has blue eyes and i have green eyes and my twin sister has green eyes and he is definity our father. My brother has blue eyes though.
