No, you need to drop the tank.
remove the inside door panel and go from there.
The only way is to remove the inside door panel (not an easy job with the door closed). Once the panel is removed, you'll have access to the latch mechanism. You will be having to remove this panel to put a new door handle on anyway.
might need to reset the problem indicator
you have to remove the whole control panel assembly. pull off dash front panel, unscrew the panel, unplug the wires and remove th cable. the blower switch mount from the back of the panel
If the reverse lights are not working on a 1999 Chevy Suburban, be sure to check the fuse panel. If all the fuses are in working order, check the wires for any loose connections. Faulty wires can result in little or no light input.
There is usually a diagram under the hood on the fan shroud or the header panel around the radiator.
in the fuse panel inside drivers door spot #2 transfer case it is labled
Go to your local auto parts door and get yourselfg a door panel removal tool. This is the only way if you want to get the panel back on. It is held on by plastic bolts, which were not designed to be removed, rather to hold the panel on. Locate where these plastic bolts are at underneath the panel and use the removal tool to pop the panel off
i just went to control panel, uninstall and it removed it. You must be sure that all instances of the prgram are closed.
