i think that people can definitely control their sexual urges. I am bisexual (a guy) and i have hooked up with more "straight" guys then gay ones. before i came out, i only hooked up with women; i enjoyed it, but i always knew that i wanted to be with guys too. a lot of guys that I've hooked up with had never been with a guy before and haven't since. I don't know if they are bisexual/gay, but i know they enjoyed it at the time (these weren't one time hookups).
