YES! if you buy a single din CD player bracket or installation kit.
NO...THe factory looks like a double but its a single
No. The Accents will only take a single DIN type radio.
Not without custom modification. The radio opening is only a single DIN, and any dash kit will be made for that opening.
No. Its 1.5 DIN
To contribute to my own question. I talked with customer service at Crutchfield.com and they advise that a double-din will fit. In fact, the space is larger than a double din. However, the only kit that seems to be out there is for a single-din install. The extra space is taken up by a "catch-all" pocket. They could only suggest checking out local shops for a custom-made install kit.

All Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ's(1993-1998) have a 1.5 DIN stereo. It is most easy to get a single DIN kit and install a single DIN stereo, but many have opted to cut out a bigger opening and block off the center vents to fit a double DIN stereo. If you want a 1.5 DIN aftermarket stereo, you will be best off buying a marine stereo. Many manufacturers make 1.5 DIN Marine head units.
no,, the stereo size in a mk5 fiesta is single din and a half, im having the same trouble at the moment but i have just got a heater control panel from a scrap yard for a fiver, you gotta cut the panel a little bit for a double to fit.
Their is no standard size per say. Many older cars have a single DIN size opening sometimes also referred to as I or J size. Newer cars and many GM products have double DIN size or a size that is almost half the difference between the double DIN and single DIN. Certain German cars have an E size radio that is slightly higher and significantly wider than a single DIN. More likely than not a single DIN or size J or I will fit your car with a custom bracket and fascia. A good source of information on what will specifically fit your car can be found from a retailer named Crutchfield.
No. It is not able to fit in the radio slot. If you take the stock radio out, and try to slip the Double-Din radio in, it will not even fit. Even if you cut it, you still have to re-cut the holes for the mount. Because the Double-Din radio runs into the mounting holes.
yes
You have to get double din adaptor/cage and probably move A/C and ashtray lower.
