In answer to your question from what I understand if you're doing a basic oil change only the gasket to the filter and maybe the washer to the oil pan bolt needs to be replaced as long as there is no leaking from the oil pan where it affixes to the engine in which case the oil pan gasket may need to be replaced too.
I suggest getting the Bentley manual for your car you can find it on eBay for pretty cheap in CD format and sometimes there are used copies for sale around 8-14 bucks.A new manual runs around 40-50 dollars. Its SUPER helpful :)
My advice based on experience is to replace the entire hinge assembly.
Should be the same as rear brake linings or pads
page 173 of your owners manual provides illustrated instructions on how to replace the bulbs on your rover. Thats great to change the bulb, but i need to change the entire headlight assembly. a rock cracked my headlight! I know the first step is to remove the grille, and then the headlight wiper arm... but what else? anyone have any advice?
According to Honda, no, it is a lifetime fluid. My advice is to change it every 75,000 miles.
Change engine oil and engine oil filter, or at 3 months whichever comes first. Rotate tires. Check spare tire for proper pressure and correct stowage. Change rear axle fluid. Change front axle fluid (4X4). Check transfer case fluid level (4X4). Inspect brake linings. Inspect engine air cleaner filter, replace if necessary. Replace spark plugs. Inspect PCV valve, replace as necessary. Inspect auto tension drive belt and replace if required.
What all do I have to take off to get to the headlights. I just want to change the bulb can anyone help? Its a 1996 LHS.
The spelling "reline" means to repair clothes linings or to refurbish brake drums.Similar words are relying (counting on) and realign (to change position).
