Here is an answer found on the Attorney General of Washington's web site. "Consumers often think that there's a timeframe in which they can return a car or other major purchase. But contrary to popular belief, there is no cooling-off period or refund right on an auto sale." The State Attorney General's web site is: http://www.atg.wa.gov If you think you have a valid complaint against the dealer that would require them to take the car back, you can call the AG's office from 10 am to 3 pm on 1.800.551.4636
