I use synthetic oil in my 2002 PT Cruiser, and it runs great! Synthetic costs a little more, but it actually better for your engine.
yes you can synthetic oil can go in any engine
You can use Synthetic oil at any time. You can even mix it with regular oil. Just be sure and use the correct weight.
Yes.
If you have kept regular oil changes, no prep is required. Just go and put the synthetic oil in.
Put Full Synthetic 10W30
It would not be as good as all synthetic however mixing the two should not do any damage to your engine.
You should drain the oil in the engine. Put engine oil back in the engine because the transmission oil is not made for engines and will hurt the moving parts of the engine if left in.
10w-30 either synthetic or regular Castrol for regular or Mobil 1 for synthetic
You can. It won't hurt, and could provide a few benefits.
conventional. I wouldn't put synethic in it unless it has already had it in the engine. Synthetic is mostly used in high performance or new vehicles. Synthetic won't do anything for an older engine
10w 40 part synthetic
Well, the best oil is either Mobile 1 or Castrol FULL SYNTHETIC OIL... 5W-30 or if you have higher miles 10W-40... PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU USE SYNTHETIC, this is what VW/Audi uses from factory on all their engines... Contrary to what many people say... YOU CAN NOT use regular oil on a car that has had Synthetic oil... it is almost like mixing water into oil... due to the synthetic oil creates a barrier in you engine to help protect it longer... if you put regular oil in an engine running Synthetic, this will cause EXTREME Engine Sludge Buildup... causing the engine to not operate correclty and costly repairs to the engine...
