If it does not start on the first try but it will start on the second try, and this is accurate, Meaning all the time. It is likely that the fuel pump is weak. requiring A new fuel pump. If you are sure about this, Have the fuel pressure tested before spending the dough.
i have also replaced the throttle body with the fuel injectors the i have tested the fuel rely and it does work
The problem is most likely the fuel pump or possibly a problem with an electronic component. Have the fuel pump tested first.
The fuel pump on the frame is not strong enough to pull fuel directly from the tank. Ford and their wonderful two pump system. You'll need to replace the pump in the tank.
Take the fuel line off of the engine and see if fuel comes out when you try to start the vehicle to see if it is working. If you need to see if it is pushing out the right perssure then you will have to take it to a shop and have it tested. If you have a fuel line pressure guage then make sure it is pushing out 5-6 psi. If not then replace the pump.
Why my Chevy Captiva won't start? I changed fuel pump, spark plugs and cleaned the fuel injectors, tested the ignition coils all is good but still will not start. please help thanks.
Start with replacing the fuel filter, it may be plugged up. If the stalling persists, have the fuel pump psi tested.
Yes
You need to have the fuel pressure tested. The pump may seem to be working but not the required pressure needed.
The fuel pump may be running but it may not put out enough fuel pressure. Have the fuel pressure tested. I am assuming the fuel filter has been changed.
