No , all it does it ground out to cause spark just like a spark plug
Yes. It only goes out when the proper coded key is inserted in the ignition.
no gas or fuel pump not working.

If the 2003 Focus is running good then suddenly shakes and looses power, check the fuel system for proper pressure. If the pressure is correct, check the ignition system for fire, the ignition components could be starting to fail.
You need to dry out the ignition circuit to no 3.
You can find the Ford Focus ignition control module beneath the drivers side dashboard. The ignition control module will be above the accelerator pedal.
Hi, The focus does not really have an ignition coil. It has a coil pack ( spark plugs ) but I think what you want is the coils in the starter. There are two coils the primary and secondary both are located in the starter itself. the coil back just trace back the wires. pretty sure it is on the left front of you engine.
Yes ( the 2.0 liter four cylinder gasoline engine used in North America does ) on a 2009 Ford Focus . The four spark plugs are under the four individual ignition coils
Do NOT use Diesel fuel in a Ford Focus. The engine will stop running and you will have to drain the gas tank to rid the car of the diesel fuel. Gasoline engines are not designed to run on diesel. They do not have enough compression to cause the diesel fuel to combust The only engine used in a 2000 Ford Focus was the 2.0 which is NOT a diesel engine.
How do you turn of the engine on a new ford focus
The brake fluid reservor is located at the back of the engine compartment near the firewall. The reservoir has a black cap with wires running into it - take off the cap and lift out the attached float mechanism - then pour in brake fluid up to the proper level.
