Where is the fuel pump fuse on a 1989 corvette
== ==
Either the pump bearings are bad or the ac clutch is going bad. The clutch can be replaced but the pump bearings are not generally cost effective to change.

Only replace the water pump if you have a visible external leak, the water pump bearings are bad, or the shaft is broken.
The water pump should only be replaced when you hear signs of the pump failing, i.e: bearings on the pulley are squeaking.
Replace the pump, your bearings are shot and it needs to be replaced before the pump flies apart sending your fan through the radiator.
Pretty sure it's part of the fuel pump assembly mounted inside the fuel tank.
It covers the impeller. The opening the cover covers allows the impeller assembly to be removed or installed into the pump housing.
All fuel pumps are fused, check the fuse block on the passenger side of the dash
The whole pump is bad. The pulley is non-replaceable, and is permanently attached to a shaft that goes into the pump assembly. This rides on a set of bearings internal to the pump, when these bearings fail the fit becomes sloppy & the squealing starts. Get it replaced before it seizes or falls out and you lose your whole serpentine belt.
