i don't believe they can. in the fifth(?) amendment, police cant search your property without a warrant from a judge. it might be different for just land, but that's what i know. look up more on the Fifth Amendment for more information.
Added: More information is needed before the question can be answered.
"Come on your land" is clear enough, but what is meant by "looking around?" Looking around WHERE? On the vacant property? Inisde buildings, barns, or sheds? WHY were they looking on your land, and WHAT were they looking for? And, WHAT were there reaons? If they looked inside of any buildings, depending on the circumstances, they may have had to have a warrant, but for vacant "un-improved" property, if it was in plain sight they would not necessarily needed to have a warrant. The questioner must disclose MUCH MORE information before this question can be answered definitively.
Yes, the cops can bring you home but only in the case that you are found in criminal circumstances
The legal age of majority in most places is 18. In some cases, a seventeen-year-old may be considered a runaway if they leave home without permission. You can contact law enforcement if you are concerned for their safety, but they may not force the minor to return home unless there are extenuating circumstances.
run around killing cops
That has been around since or a bit befor the 60's.
By whom? For how long?? With or without your permission??? Call a local towing company and pay them to tow it away. Notify the cops first.
You are not considered an adult until you are 18, let alone get married. If your parents find out or the cops, you will find that out!
ask the cops
Depends on your situation.
Sue? No. Call the cops? yes. They are trespassing but if they are under the age of 18 you will most likely get nowhere. your best course of action is to talk to their parents. but if they are over 18 you can call the cops and they can be charged with trespassing and maybe for brandishing a firearm in public
It is against the law. If you know who did it then call the cops and make a report. If you are unsure who did it then the website that it happened on has a Vandal team that can take care of the issue for you.
In general, a 16-year-old can leave the house to hang out with friends without getting in trouble with the cops as long as they have permission from their parent or guardian. However, laws about curfew and parental consent may vary by location, so it's important to check local regulations.
