Where is the evap system purge and vent solenoids located on a Hyundai santa fe?
The purge valve is connected to the intake manifold on 2001 and later models. If you look in the back you'll see where it's connected right behind the throttle with a small fitting and hose about 6 inches long. The Evap system is in the rear driver's side underneath behind the wheel. You'll see a big canister held up by 2 nuts. Canister purge valve is located under the air cleaner assembly, remove the aircleaner and the airintake hose, remove air filter, underneath in air cleaner housing are 2 7/16 nuts,remove and take housing out. canister is underneath. valve closes to canister is the purge solenoid.
