I do weight training and cardio in the same day. I will lift for usually 1.5 hrs then do 20 min oflight-moderate cardio (fast walk on incline on treadmill). I would advise you to not dostrenuous cardio after or before a workout, that can hinder your gains. Keep the heavy-strenuous cardio to your days off from lifting.
It is recommended to do at least 30 minutes of cardio per day
Ofcourse! Any exercise is good. But don't do same thing every day, because your body gets used to it and it doesn't have so much effect. And every once in a while add time to your cardio exercises, few minutes or so.

A 1.5 pound block of cheese weighs the same as an iPad.
Cardio and aerobic exercise is essentially the same thing. Elliptical machines provide this sort of exercise.
30 minutes of cardio a day.
it would help but you really need to focus on the cardio and diet more.
I think that an orca whale weighs the same. Also i think that your house probably weighs the same.
Bodybuilders very seldom do cardio. They focus almost completey on the weights. So if you ever make a bodybuilder mad you have a good chance at running away. Typically about 3 months out from a show they will begin doing cardio up to usually about 2 and a half hours a day split into two sessions. Though it does depend on the bodybuilder. However throughout the rest of the year cardio is kept to a minimum or not at all.
No but it is good cardio and will burn some calories
This is a good question, and there is no one answer that works well for everyone. So, experiment and see what works best for you. It depends a lot on your age and ability to recover from exercise as well as on how hard you are doing weight training and running. If you do cardio on an empty stomach before your first meal of the day, you will burn more fat than doing the same amount of cardio later in the day. Therefore, it might be a good idea to do your cardio before breakfast and to do your weight training in the afternoon.Incidentally, ANY running will cut into your gains from weight training. For that reason, it might be better to combine weight training and milder cardio such as brisk walking. That's the combination used by most serious bodybuilders and fitness models.
