Per Honda Customer Service:
If the vehicle is a manual transmission (stick shift) simply leave the gear shift in neutral and the steering wheel un-locked (so that the front wheels can follow the motorhome through curves and around corners).
If it is an automatic transmission the factory approved method is as follows: Start and warm up the vehicle. Run the transmission lever through all the gears pausing a moment in each one. Return the lever to the "N" (neutral) position and shut the engine off, but leaving the steering wheel un-locked. It is then ready to be towed. Repeat this procedure once every 500 miles (or once daily if you drive less than 500). This method leaves enough Transmission Fluid in the body of the transmission to keep the gears, pumps, and seals lubricated while being towed.
CAUTION: When leaving the ignition switch in the ACC (accessory) postiion, so that the steering wheel is unlocked during towing, make sure that ALL interior electrical devices are turned off (e.g.: radio - lights - interior fan - etc).
Either disconnect the axle halfshafts if you wish to flat tow it, or put it on a trailer. Flat tow it as is, and you'll be replacing a transmission soon.
The only two 2008 Honda's that are currently flat towable are the CRV and the Fit. If you have any flat towing questions, you can call the towing experts at Camping Connection at 1-888-252-2267 or email at campconnrv@yahoo.com
How much can a Honda Accord EX tow?
As long as the front wheels are down in contact with the road surface on any model or year of a Honda CRV the odometer will register. If trailered or dollied with front wheels raised, no it won't.
2007 Honda CRV has a tow rating of 1500 pounds, 3000 pounds with added trailor brakes.
No you will damage your transaxle, best to tow with front wheels off the dround, like with a tow dolley.
Yes.
no you can not because of the all wheel drive system

Flat bed only
Yes,make sure to check owners manual for correct method
It would be okay for a very short distance, but that car is not designed to be flat towed as the transmission will not have circulating lubricant.
