You can pursue your degree no matter where you are. Most individuals in the military take there education through various colleges and universities locate around the base they are stationed at. However, today there are many excellent colleges and universities that offer online degrees where you can set our own pace and classroom time. In addition, you would be working with one institution and not have to be concerned about transferring credits from one institution to another, which not always works out well. This appears to be an excellent method for individuals who move a lot or have other work/life responsibilities. I highly recommend it for individuals who are not procrastinators, and disciplined in their study habits. However, whichever institution you choose, make sure the institution has a regional accreditation. With a regional accreditation, you can be assured the coursework and degree you complete will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers. I have indicated below the appropriate accrediting agencies. Make sure the school has one of these.
Regional Accreditation Agencies
