Probably. I believe that would be determined on a case-to-case basis. My high school had a program that allowed you to take classes for the GED and the subsequent test as part of the high school curriculum. I know several people who had both the GED and a high school diploma.
Visit the official GED Testing Service website at www.acenet.edu for more information or call 1-800-62-MYGED (1-800-626-9433) to find your local GED Testing Center. The center can tell you: * Whether you can take the GED Tests * Where to find the Official GED Practice Tests * Where to find a GED instructional program * How much it costs to take the tests * When the tests are given * Other useful information
A GED is a high school diploma equivalency, but a G.E.D and high school diploma can be VERY different actually, so if you can get a high school diploma while you have a G.E.D. it would be an improvement, not a waste of time. Having a high school diploma opens up a LOT more opportunity for you, the military for example only takes G.E.D. holders if you have a minimum of 15 college credits as well and there are many other companies and institutions who prefer diploma holders. So in short, you can get a lot farther in life and have it a bit easier if you get your high school diploma.
A GED is an equivalency, but not realy some employers look right past a GED and if you trying to get in to the military (which i am so do not tell me i am wrong)itis much more difficult to do when u have a GED everything xhanges in a second and some jobs will not even let you get in with a GED so having a GED(which i have) realy sucks inthe long shot bc its very hard to make aliving bc everyone looks down on it(i really wish i would have stayed in high school)so when people say a GED is the same thing as a high school diploma they either have a high school diploma or are butt hurt that they did not stay in school like me promise u just try it join the army or marines or any branch try to get a good job where u are not breaking ur back try me ..please tell me im wrong because i can bet u can not......yes some may have been able to catch a break but you cant wait on that you have to bust your tail for a good living and now a days a good living still ain't enough....please tell me im wrong no one can because i have been working my tail off for 5 years just to survive so STAY IN SCHOOL AND IF YOU DONT TRY TO JOIN THE MILITARY THAT IS YOUR ONLY WAY OF SURVIVING ON THIS PLANET
Yes, but i recommend that you go to high school...considering how you spelled "college" wrong. Mistakes like that are open to ridicule in college by professors.
However, there _are_ remedial classes that can improve such basic skills offered at many colleges, so don't give up if you've already taken the G.E.D. An education is the most important thing you can give yourself, no matter what age. You also need to be aware that most colleges (or at least many) will require a certain score or above on a GED test to be admitted.
no u can't.

i think the answer is a High school diploma or a GED. i think the answer is a High school diploma or a GED.
Looks ok to me, the website actually advertises high school diploma programs. It does not offer a GED, because GED cannot be offered by a high school and obviously GED is not a high school diploma. What the website is trying to say is that with little effort and time you can get an accredited high school diploma instead of a GED which has comparatively less value than a high school diploma
