No its not, p2p as in peer to peer file sharing it self it NOT illegal, the TECHNOLOGY it self that permits you to share your OWN material that you made your self, or materials that other made them selves with permission to re-share freely with other people, such as GNU, etc its NOT illegal. Whats IS illegal is the sharing of COMMERCIAL COPYRIGHTED CONTENT where owners tries to sale such content and the user uses the perfectly legal P2P TECHNOLOGY to share these copyrighted materials.
I heavily rely on P2P to share my independently created contents such as video, audio and PDF eBooks that I have written my self with others free of charge, now THAT you can do.
You can easily get arrested and go to jail for as much as 20 years for using Frostwire, because of all the kiddie porn and the ongoing federal stings. Downloading frostwire or limewire is just asking for the FBI to come seize your computer, to grow old in prison with a bunch of perverts, and be a registered sex offender for the rest of your miserable life after you get out.
"Police arrested Kuntz in March as part of the Frosty Lime Squeeze child pornography sting. Authorities arrested 39 suspected perpetrators during the sting, including 11 in Utah County alone. The sting was named for the FrostWire and LimeWire file-sharing networks.
frostwire sucks , and yes it is illegal to download music and those associated with it.
Its about a one in a million chance that it will you being caught, but that's still a chance you will be caught :)
not use it
yes of course it is. ive used frostwire forever and my sister has too and we have never gotten cuaght for using it but i suggest only downloading songs off of frostwire.
FrostWire Yes there is a FrostWire.
You can use Windows Media Player, just add the songs you downloaded to it. I don't think you can burn with Frostwire, anyway.
Downloading FrostWire from a safe site won't give you a virus but some of the things you download using FrostWire could.
FrostWire Not Illegal, Downloading Copyrighted Material IsFrostWire itself is not illegal. FrostWire can be used as a peer to peer file transferring system of uncopyrighted materials. But once copyrighted materials starting being used, downloading and uploading is illegal.
No. Simply using a piece of software like frostwire is not a copyright infringement. There are legitimate uses for file sharing networks. It is only when copyrighted material is shared without permission that an infringement occurs.
Frostwire is an application, not a site. I wouldn't recommend using it, just buy it. Frostwire is free, though. And if the music file is 98mb, it's obviously a virus.
No.
FrostWire was created in 2004.
FrostWire is a file-sharing client. FrostWire can be used to share files between friends and family within a network. Although there are links from a variety of sites to FrostWire, it is available for free from the FrostWire site.
Yes, you can take them off using 'add or remove programs' in control panel. But, to get rid of EVERYTHING, remove it using 'add or remove programs' then go to My Computer/Program Files look for Frostwire and delete it to the recycling bin.
None. Frostwire is not a virus.
