No! Cats have extremely sensitive livers. Herbal teas, essential oils and some foods will Probably be fine, but may cause allergic reaction or permanant liver damage. If you are not entirely sure (vet consulted) do not administer, because you may do more harm than good

(this goes especially for tea tree oil, which would be a good flea/ mite preventative but is highly toxic for cats.

Well, yes you can but treating cats is like treating an infant--you must limit the things you poke down their throats and have a reason for doing that! Tinctures taste awful and those pills are just huge! I wouldn't do it unless there is a good reason to (like for cancer, but even then that's not the best treatment.)

It's better to feed a high-quality food, a bit of raw, fresh meat each day and give them cat grass if they want. Also, hands on healing, reiki, massage, and lots of love act to stimulate the immune system. One of my cats enjoys sleeping on anything magnetic.

For specific disease processes I'd recommend a holistic veterianian. Many do work over the phone

There is nothing wrong with giving echinacea to a cat. Many holistic blends contain echinacea. Its a natural immune booster.
