∙ 12y agoNo - this drug is an antihistamine as such, not used for 'colds'. The majority of colds in cats are viral, with secondary bacterial infections.
Cats showing signs of a cold should be taken to a veterinarian as soon as possible.
It has been used in the control of allergic conditions in both dogs and cats.
In cats it has also been used for some compulsive licking behavioral disorders.
Drowsiness may be a side effect
