yes,go to eBay and check out the headers and exhaust systems.
A cheaper option for dual exhaust without making it a true dual exhaust from the exhaust manifold/headers. Not much performance gained just appearance.
By adding a dual exhaust and/or exhaust headers either short or long tubes for sound and performance
The old exhaust manifold will need to be removed. The new headers will either have to be made to fit the engine well, or the inner fenders will have to be modified to fit. Then the headers will need to be either mated to the old exhaust or a new exhaust system will need to be installed. In a v8 engine installation most people prefer a dual exhaust to maximize the headers capability.
10 to 20 percent
Installing a after-market exhaust will Increase MPG and low-end and high-end power outputs. Also with addition to headers will come Increased loudness and Horsepower and low-end torque.
I added: Hypertech chip, K&N air filter, headers with dual exhaust. The best improvement came from the headers.
True dual straights, no muffler, no cats, pacesetter long tube headers, 5 inch tips coming out at the corners.
Yes, you can. There is plenty of offers in the Net for that. Technically, you cannot put headerS on the engine, but you can put A header (unless of course, you want to do a true dual exhaust system and get a custom set of headers, but that would be very un-4 banger like)
yes, the 1970 mustang grande 302 does have a factory dual exhaust. And its a straight up beast might I add -edit- It did not come standard with dual exhaust. The 302 base model regular fuel came with a 2bbl carb and manifold headers leading to a passenger-side, single-pipe exhaust. I owned one. It was ok but the 3sp tranny left you begging for more on the highway.
Changing carbs probably wouldn't add much if anything, but headers and dual exhaust could give 10 hp.
A dual exhaust system & or headers will increase fuel mileage but only slightly. Not enough to recoup the expense of the systems.
easiest way is to slap on a set of cheap headers and dual exhaust pipes
